The UAE will host the first-ever WOW (World of Web3) festival, which promises an unprecedented festival of digital alternative reality, an NFT gallery, the Web3 summit and a multidimensional outdoor performance in one place.
WOW seeks to increase society’s understanding of Web3 technology, its ascent to emerging markets, and its impact on innovation and the life we know. Events will include the WOW Summit, the Business Expo of the world’s leading blockchain technology companies, and Metafest, a multidimensional, exciting outdoor performance.
The flagship event will take place from 13 to 16 March in Burj Park in Dubai, will open with a blockchain summit and culminate in developments in the digital mining hardware and software industry. For four days, the pop-up gallery will showcase one of the largest shows of NFT and digital art in the Emirates, which will feature works by some of the world’s leading digital artists from the UAE, USA, Spain, Barbados, Sweden, Australia, Turkey. , China, Japan and Lebanon, as well as curators of collections from major galleries. The main exhibition “Alternative Reality” is dedicated to the impact of blockchain technology and the phenomena behind it on the development of contemporary art in general in the digital world.
