Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police have closed the A272 between West Myon Hut and Petersfield for the third day in a row following the collision on Wednesday 27 May. As previously reported, a 25-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the road. the scene after the collision with the truck.
Romanse Traffic Monitor reports: “A272 #Langrish – remains CLOSED in both directions between West Meon Hut and #Petersfield for investigation following fatal RTC on Wednesday 24th May.”

Following the fatal collision, a spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: “Sadly the driver of the motorcycle, a 25-year-old man from Waterlooville, was pronounced dead at the scene. We are asking anyone with information to get in touch. We will be particularly keen to hear from anyone who has CCTV footage that could assist our investigation.’
