To celebrate the 650th anniversary of the British-Portuguese alliance, the British Embassy will develop a series of events in the city of Porto on the 8th and 9th, and the Bolhão market will be the place to share these experiences.

The 3rd floor gallery will host an exhibition about the UK for two days, focusing on important areas such as science, education and culture, and which will be showcased with interactive panels for a more immersive and educational experience.

You can appreciate a set of works of art, the motto of which is the oldest diplomatic relations in the world. These works were carried out by children benefiting from pediatricians from hospitals throughout the country, from the Centro Integrado de Apoio à Deficiência Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto and students from schools in Braga and Gandamara.

The event will be attended by Chris Santee, UK Ambassador to Portugal, and María João Rodríguez de Araújo, President of the Portugal-UK 650 initiative, among other invited guests.

The exhibition can be visited until April 16 from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 15:00 to 19:00. The exhibition will be closed on Mondays, as well as February 21 (Shrovetide) and April 9 (Easter). Entrance is free.
