Sixteen Portsmouth businesses and venues are currently signed up to the We Stand Together project, but all businesses in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas are encouraged to sign up to register their interest.

Portsmouth Christmas Trading Company is partnering with We Stand Together

Cllr Jason Fazacarley, Cabinet Member for Community Safety, said: “The campaign to support our big businesses at Christmas is the perfect partner for the We Stand Together project. As a council, we want as many residents as possible to enjoy events and shopping on our high streets, support our local businesses, but also feel safe.”

Staff at registered businesses are trained to identify abusive behavior and support those who have experienced harassment or sexual assault.
