Craft Your Christmas with Sara Davies launches on November 19.
It is estimated that two out of three women are involved in some form of needlework, making it one of the fastest growing trends of recent times.
From presents to garlands, cards to crackers, wrapping paper to mantle decorations, Sarah will show the audience how to create their very own Christmas with a series of hands-on demonstrations, loads of top tips and a useful tidbit of her down-to-earth knowledge.
Interactive, creative and fun, it’s an evening where friends can share ideas on how to make your home warm and inviting for the season, how to decorate the door, mantel, Christmas tree, table, make the perfect cards and gifts or wrapping gifts.
Sarah Davies said: “Obviously I love crafting, but crafting at Christmas is simply the best time to craft.
“I’m going to share all the little hacks and shortcuts to achieve the perfect look for the perfect crafty Christmas.
“If you share this with your friends, you’ll have a great night out and hopefully you’ll leave having a ton of fun, feeling excited about having a homemade, personalized Christmas.”
Business has always been in her blood, and Sara drew inspiration from her parents’ home decor store to build her own empire. It all started with The Enveloper, a custom envelope she designed at the age of 21 while studying at university, which became an instant hit with crafters. This soon evolved into Sarah’s current business, Crafting Companion, which sells all kinds of creative supplies and has an average turnover of £34 million!
Sarah’s company has more than 200 employees at headquarters in the UK and California, and she even received an MBE in 2016 for her services to the economy.
Her remarkable success story made her the obvious choice to take the coveted spot on Dragon’s Den, becoming the show’s youngest female investor in 2019. To date, she has invested more than £1.1 million in the show, giving new businesses the boost they need.
