The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias, is on an official visit to Yerevan on Tuesday, where he will meet with Armenian government officials.
Dendias will first meet with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzayan, followed by joint press statements at approximately 1:20 p.m. (Athens time).
Then the Greek minister will be received by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan; The Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan will also take part in the meeting.
Dendias’ visit will conclude with a working lunch hosted by Mirzayan.
Current events in the Caucasus region and the Eastern Mediterranean, cooperation between the two countries within the framework of trilateral cooperation schemes, and relations between the EU and Armenia are expected to be discussed at the talks.
This will be Dendias’ second visit to Armenia in less than two years, while the two ministers also met last week during the 77th United Nations General Assembly in New York.
