Liverpool man Andy Robertson will not feature for Scotland against Ireland in the Nations League next week after being ruled out by Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.

Lopp is assessing his squad for their Champions League test against Ajax, although it has been reported that the Reds’ weekend Championship game away to Chelsea will not go ahead due to police concerns.

The absence of policing in the London area following the death of Queen Elizabeth II has already caused Arsenal’s Europa League clash with PSV to be postponed.

Klopp today confirmed that Robertson’s injury sustained in the away game at Napoli will rule him out temporarily, ruling the defender out of the Scotland squad.

“Robba is not 100 percent right now. (He felt something) Very late, 93 or so minutes – in fact he didn’t feel it until the next day. But yes, he was out at least I would say after the international break,” said Klopp.
