Kathy Taylor [21(6)-0] will return to the ring for the first time since his historic fight with Amanda Serrano at the end of next month.

The Irish sporting sensation will next trade leather at Wembley Arena on October 29, according to reports.

The undisputed world lightweight champion will defend her titles against an opponent yet to be confirmed on the DAZN broadcast card.

The boss of the match Eddie Hearn revealed that he will be playing a UK show on October 29 as a precursor John Ryder fight the ex Dennis Hogan and Spike O’Sullivan the enemy Jaime Munguia.

It is understood that Taylor will headline the bill, which could also include fights for Shannon Courtney and heavyweight Johnny Fisher.

No Smoke Boxing suggests that official confirmation is pending.

Taylor was hoping for an immediate rematch with Serrano, who she defeated at Madison Square Garden in April, and there have been attempts to secure a return to Croke Park.

However, the return home has been delayed until next year and it now looks like the Olympic gold medalist will be competing in London.

MMA names Cris Cyborg and Holly Holm have been mentioned as possible opponents, but Cyborg makes her boxing debut in three weeks, ruling her out, while there has been less chatter about The Preacher’s Daughter.

Jessica McCaskill and Chantel Camerontwo names also associated with the groundbreaking star are otherwise engaged to fight each other in November, ruling them out while Serrano fights on the same card as Anthony Kakas later this month.

World champion according to the version of the WBA in super lightweight Hyun Mi Choi was also named recently, but there is no clear indication of who the opponent might be.

The November fight day and night at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena was previously rumored to host the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF 135lb world champions, but the latest reports suggest London is going full steam ahead.

Caaimhin Agyarka and Gary Calley, Irish fighters signed to Matchroom, will be hoping to feature on any Taylor bill.
