Flights at a Scottish airport were suspended due to unscheduled repairs on Monday.

Aberdeen International The airport confirmed it had to temporarily suspend flights to carry out maintenance.

Passengers were urged to contact their airlines for specific flight information.

The airport provided vouchers for refreshments to passengers.

The statement added: “We can confirm that we are currently carrying out some unscheduled maintenance work and have had to temporarily suspend operations.

“We aim to complete this as quickly as possible with minimal disruption, however we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

“Passengers are receiving refreshment vouchers and we will provide further information once the work is complete.

“Passengers are advised to contact their airline for specific flight information.”
