The Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports continues to further protect and exploit the cultural heritage of the medieval city of Rhodes with a comprehensive strategic plan to promote the archaeological site of the Grand Master’s Palace, ANA reports.
The Minister of Culture and Sports, Lina Mendoni, said that “the medieval city of Rhodes is a huge comparative advantage for Rhodes, the Dodecanese and Greece as a whole. Our aim is to highlight the archaeological site of Perivala, a UNESCO site, through an integrated design , and will connect the remains of the ancient dock buildings with the medieval gardens of the Castello, creating a new unified eternal historic monumental core in the medieval city.
