Five beaches renew their certification

Costa Nostrum also announced that five more beaches in Crete have renewed their certification for the period 2022-2023.

The beaches are located on the territory of the village Apollonia Beach Resort & Spa, Creta Maris Beach Resort, TUI Magic Life Candia Maris and in the areas of Akti-Karteras in Heraklion and Agia Pelagia in the municipality of Malevizi.

“In a time of climate crisis, maintaining the sustainability of Crete’s beaches and contributing to the modernization of the island’s tourism product is a successful project for us,” said the CEO of Costa Nostrum. Vasilis Zisimopoulos said.

“We are confident that our efforts to achieve a complete sustainable transformation will lead us to new certifications and ultimately to a world that will be largely based on sustainable development,” he added.
