BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 2. The construction of the Barda-Aghdam highway, one of the road infrastructure projects implemented in the Karabakh and East-Zangazur economic districts, continues at an accelerated pace. The trend This is reported by the State Highway Agency of Azerbaijan.

Excavation works along the road and installation of a new canvas have already been completed. Construction of the road base is almost complete. In general, 71 percent of the highway construction work has been completed.

The construction of underpasses and road bridges on the 25th and 40th kilometers of the highway has been completed. The construction of overpasses on the 4th, 14th and 16th kilometers of the road continues.

The first 14 kilometers of the road pass through the city of Barda and several settlements of the Barda district. The highway connects more than 20 settlements in these areas, including the cities of Barda and Agdam.
