Greece expresses its condolences to the families of those killed in the plane crash near Kavala

Greece’s foreign ministry on Sunday expressed deep sadness over the crash of a cargo plane in northern Greece in a Twitter message. “It is with deep sadness that we received the news about the crash of a cargo plane in Northern Greece, near Kavala. We express our sincere condolences to the families of the 8 crew members of the Ukrainian plane who tragically died in the plane crash,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on Twitter.
