Irish consulting and outsourcing company RelateCare plans to create 280 jobs at its new plant in Tralee.

The first 30 of these jobs have already been hired and are working in the Kerry Center, located in the Kerry Technology Park on the campus of the Münster University of Technology.

Recruitment of the other 250 positions, including executives, support staff and access to medical staff, will begin as part of the ongoing expansion.

RelateCare was established in 2013 and already has 1,400 people in Ireland and the US.

The company provides back office functions for hospitals and healthcare facilities, including contact centers, telemedicine services and scheduling patient appointments for clients in both Ireland and the United States.

RelateCare is headquartered in Waterford and has centers in Cleveland, Ohio, and Little Rock in Arkansas.
