Former German Chelsea star Michael Ballack, 45, is dating a model, a 21-year-old friend of his late Emilio.

Former Chelsea star Michael Ballack is believed to be dating a 21-year-old friend of his deceased son Emilio less than a year after an 18-year-old died in an ATV tragedy in Portugal.

The 45-year-old Balak was spotted while visiting Art Basel, a contemporary art fair, along with his model girlfriend Sofia Schneiderhan, 21.

The couple, who became close after the fatal accident with Balak’s son, looked in love and were seen kissing in public, German edition Picture reported.

This is not the first time the couple has been seen together after being seen in the fashionable district of Berlin.

It comes less than a year after Balac’s son Emilio was killed when his The ATV overturned and crushed him as he reversed and lost control after a family barbecue at the Portuguese holiday home of Balac.

Emilio was the middle of Balak’s three sons, born in 2002 to then-girl Simona Lambe, whom Balak married in 2008 but divorced in 2012.

Members of the duo told Bild that they believed the relationship was good for Balak and that the couple did not seem to be concerned about the 24-year age difference.

Neither Balak nor Schneiderhan immediately responded to MailOnline’s request for comment.

At the time, police said Balak was driving on an uneven piece of land when the bike rolled back and fell on him around 2am on August 5 at the family estate Villas do Mar, near the city of Troy, south of the capital, Lisbon.

Firefighters had to pull him out of the wreckage before medics tried to revive him, but their efforts proved futile and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The accident happened at the family home. The ATV was not on a public road and was the only vehicle, ”the officer told Portuguese media.

The Portuguese daily Jornal de Noticias reported that Emilio was leaving the property on his ATV when he had a fatal accident.

It is believed that he lost control of the car during a maneuver from the family villa and found himself on a public road with an ATV on it after the fall, the newspaper reported. It is said that his grandmother raised the alarm.

Sources said Emilio was hosting a family barbecue at the villa earlier in the evening. He rested there with his father, two brothers and Mikhail’s parents.

The teenager’s body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Santiago de Casem for posthumous examination. Balak has not yet given any official comments.
