You can also try applying Vaseline or nasal balm to your nostrils to keep the pollen out of your nose.

She added that if you choose a nasal spray, then you should choose a spray without xylometazoline (or oxymetazoline), which works by forcing the blood vessels in the nasal mucosa and sinuses to shrink and narrow.

“Initially, it seems the ingredient helps reduce swelling, reduces mucus production and the overall feeling of congestion.
