Seven England British police said fans had been arrested in Munich ahead of a match against Germany, including three supporters who had been detained for Nazi fireworks.
Manager of England Gareth Southgate urged itinerant fans to behave as best they could before the team’s first away match in Germany since 2016 and after the “embarrassment” of the Euro 2020 final at Wembley last summer.
As part of the training, the Football Association was on high alert due to problems before the match, and police confiscated the passports of 880 England fans on the eve of the match.
Two arrests were made for inciting police, one for lighting a pyrotechnic rocket indoors, and the other for urinating in public. Law enforcement officers added that it was a mess – anti-social behavior caused by alcohol.
