The VIRTUAL REALITY market is exploding with hardware made by the best in Silicon Valley.
The gaming titanium PlayStation is playing cool amid rumors of a delay about the next generation of their VR headset.
Supply chain analyst and technician Min-Chi Kuo said Sony plans to mass produce 1.5 million units of PlayStation VR 2 (PS VR 2) in the second half of 2022.
Kuo believes the device will indeed hit the market in the first quarter of 2023.
“Sony may launch it in the first quarter of 23 years, depending on the PS VR2 game title development schedule,” Kuo wrote in the thread.
According to Kuo, the equipment is ready, VR games are not.

PS VR 2 has many stunning features, including eye tracking technology, new handles and a 110-degree field of view – all of which contribute to a more exciting experience, but certainly complicate game programming.

Elon Musk has repeatedly stated in interviews that he believes that video game programmers are the best in business.

Hopefully, for the sake of PlayStation, video game programmers will be able to get PS VR 2 for release in the near future.

Unfortunately for Zuka, Meta doesn’t own the gaming intellectual property that Sony owns – if the PS VR 2 really hits the market, it will get a big furor among gamers, fans and competitors such as Meta.
