Liverpool fans’ airport delighted as they head to Paris for the Champions League final

Fans of the “reds” traveling to Paris from John Lennon Airport in Liverpool, through the security service noticed some changes in the departure hall.

Parts of the airport have undergone a Liverpool FC conversion with banners, huge lights and red and white arches of balloons. Today (Friday) ten flights will depart from Liverpool to the French capital.

Thousands of people are expected to travel from Liverpool to Paris, and some who set out this morning like the atmosphere in Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Taking to Twitter, Kev Ryan said: “@LPL_Airport is playing well, lots of security guards, only 5 minutes of waiting and a rave on the 1st floor at the #paris bar.” A Merseymale user said: “Liverpool Airport looks good today. Celebrate Liverpool’s trip to France. Good luck, guys, and hope everyone stays safe #YNWA.”

Josh said: “The DJ is playing at Liverpool Airport, Scus knows how to get through before the final.”
