Jet2 launched for the first time in Santorini at the capital’s airport in honor of the new routes in the summer of 2022.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays canceled the flight on Thursday (May 26th) from the base, and the first flight to Santorini is said to be after the first flight to Skiathos, which took off today (May 27th).

These flights are then followed by the inaugural flights of the companies to Izmir on Saturday (May 28) and Prevez on May 29.

The busy schedule marks the beginning of the fact that the UK’s leading holiday airline and leading tour operator to many destinations in the Mediterranean, including Greece, provides weekly services on Thursdays to the stunning Greek island of Edinburgh Airport this summer runs until October 27th.

The launch of these popular Greek and Turkish destinations from the base is in response to high demand from local customers and independent travel agencies for flights and summer holidays 22.

Apart from Santorini, the full breakdown of the Summer 22 program at Skiathos, Izmir and Preveza from Edinburgh Airport is as follows:

  • Skiathos: weekly Friday services open from 27 May to 30 September
  • Preveza: weekly Sunday services taking place from May 29 to October 23
  • Izmir: Weekly Saturday services run from May 28 to October 22
