Andrew “Andy” Fletcher was born on July 8, 1961 in Nottingham, UK, was known as an English keyboardist and DJ.
He first became famous in the 1980s as one of the founding members of Depeche Mode along with Martin Gore and Dave Gahan.
Over the years, Fletcher has helped the band release 14 studio albums and countless songs.
In 2020, he was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The band first announced Fletcher’s death.
“We are shocked and filled with immense sadness at the untimely death of our dear friend, family member and Fletcher Fletcher,” the group said in a statement.
“Fletch had a real golden heart and was always there when you needed support, lively conversation, a good laugh or a cold pint.
“Our heart is with his family and we ask you to keep them in your thoughts and respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

Despite confirmation, the cause of his death has not been reported.
Fletcher was 60 years old at the time of his death.
